What does my ticket get me?
There are two ticket blocks - a morning block and and an afternoon block. Your ticket allows for you to immerse yourself into half a day of chocolate! Ticket holders have access to the main exhibition hall to meet chocolate makers, sample chocolates, and buy chocolates. There will also be classes, workshops, taking place throughout the day! Unless otherwise noted, all events happening within the time slot shown on your ticket are included with your ticket and don't require additional signups.
Will there be non-chocolate food?
Yes! There will be food and beverages (wine included) for sale at the event.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a 100% ID Check for this event! The DC Chocolate Festival is taking place at La Maison Française at The French Embassy, and as such ALL attendees must be ticketed and have proof of ID that matches their ticket. There is no minimum age requirement, this is a family friendly event! Kids 12+ will need to have a separate ticket.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate visitors in the Embassy parking lot. However, there is substantial space to park on the Embassy's street, Reservoir Road.
We recommend bus, carpooling, biking or ride-sharing.
If you catch the bus to the Metro Embassy, two Metro Bus lines, D2 & D6, are available. D6 will take you right to the main gate and D2, half a mile away.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring your appetite for chocolate! Other than that - pack light.
Please be advised that for security reasons, Embassy staff and security services cannot allow large bags or backpacks to be brought onto Embassy grounds. Any large bags will be confiscated at the entrance gate before the owner can be granted entry.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email: [email protected]
What's the refund policy?
Refunds will be made up to 7 days before the event.
